The main road through Oban was closed for two hours on the evening of Wednesday June 27 2012 after an accident blocked both lanes.
A silver Peugeot 307 and silver Vauxhall Astra collided on Soroba Road near to Oban Community Fire Station around 7.40pm.
The 55-year-old female driver of the Peugeot was taken to nearby Lorn and Islands Hospital in the town along with the 25-year-old female driver and 29-year-old female passenger of the Vauxhall.
All were kept in hospital in Oban overnight for observation but their injuries were not thought to be serious.
The road was shut so the vehicles could be cleared and it re-opened around 10pm.
The crash left traffic queued through the town,with the road closed at the traffic at Oban High School.
