A Mull artist and an Edinburgh publisher are at odds over the creation of a Facebook hit called Tobermory Cat,based on a ginger cat that roams the streets of the Mull town.
Tobermory Cat had become the centre of attention for his exploits but now Birlinn and Mull artist Angus Stewart are in a war of words over who thought of the idea first as the Edinburgh publisher sets out to produce a book called Tobermory Cat,set in Tobermory,with illustrations by Debi Gliori.
