
Lochaber’s Ross McTaggart helped power his side to their first victory in nearly six months last Saturday.
LOCHABER Rugby Club picked up their first league win since October by beating Banff 48-15 at Banavie on Saturday.
The team have struggled to play on their home turf this season due to the poor condition of the grass,but a recent spell of dry weather meant they were able to host the side who sit three places above them in the league.
Chris Simpson scored a hat trick of tries,while Connor Taylor and Rory MacKay both crossed the line twice. Captain Kenny Turnbull also scored a try in the second half.
