TWO adults were led out safely from a remote Lochaber beach on Wednesday,February 15 2012 after becoming disoriented as darkness fell.Clyde Coastguard tasked Salen,Kilchoan and Mallaig coastguard teams to find the family on the Singing Sands near Acharacle after police were alerted late in the afternoon.
Kilchoan coastguard Rosie Curtis told The Oban Times:‘The Salen team got them and walked them out. It was a good ending.’
