OBAN Tesco staff and customers had a chance to try out one of the state of art seats that will fill the new Phoenix Cinema when it opens later this year.
The Phoenix cinema campaign took the showcase aqua-plastic neoprene chair to the Argyll store on Saturday in another successful fund-raising push.
Phoenix project manager Mikey McManus was delighted with the £488.43 donated by customers as volunteers helped them with packing their bags.
As well as being ‘coca cola proof’ the seats boast a three tilt back system and full disabled access.
