OBAN Classic Vehicle Club has handed over a cheque for £700 to Mary’s Meals –just before the girl receiving it,on behalf of the charity, was about to head off to Kenya for six months.
Bonawe’s Eilidh Campbell volunteered to go to Malawi with Mary’s Meals some 18 months ago,but has continued to work with the charity following her return.
While her visit to Oban Classic Vehicle Club was primarily to give a presentation on her previous charitable work with Mary’s Meals, she confirmed she was already dusting off her passport for a return visit to Africa, this time to volunteer with the Single Mothers’ Association in Kenya.
