LOCHABER Burns Club will be presented with collected items from its 113-year history at its celebration of the Bard in Fort William’s Alexandra Hotel on January 27 2012.
Robert Cairns,the club’s fundraiser for the past six years,has spent recent weeks in Fort William Library browsing microfiched back copies of The Oban Times dating back over a century.
Mr Cairns is standing down from his role this year and wanted to leave the club a lasting memento.
