The Aberchalder Swing Bridge on the A82 (5 miles south of Fort Augustus),will be closed,overnight,between 9.30 pm on Wednesday 18 January and 6.30 am on Thursday 19 January 2012.
This closure is required to allow the swing bridge to be jacked on and off temporary supports,allowing essential repairs to be carried out.

Motorists should allow extra time for their journeys and pay attention to any advisory signs which will be in place throughout the works.
