THE ISLE of Skye has claimed two of the three Scottish Government appointments on the newly democratised Crofting Commission – and both are from Sleat.
Working crofter Susan Walker,from Camuscross and vet William Swann,from Ardvasar,will take their places alongside Sandy Cross,a qualified investment manager and landlord of a 1,600-hectare crofting estate on Shetland.
