Oban’s first ever winter festival burst on to the scene over the weekend,November 19-20,with everything from dancing to ice skating and Father Christmas and reindeer to Victorian and horse-drawn carriage rides.
The Christmas lights have been switched on and the rest of the week is looking forward to some more festival events including an under 18s open mic session,Christmas flower demonstartion,party ideas,Christmas lectures,family ceilidh,wine Call My Bluff,farmer’s market,cream teas,fairground,children’s market and massed choir,family lantern parade and,of course,a second fireworks display courtesy of Pyro1 after November 4′s rather short display at Mossfield!
